The gathering call

Not everyone woke at the same time.

On 8/8/24 the seal broke, and bodies came back all over the earth — some mid-song, some mid-argument, some still shaking three thousand years of stone out of their shoulders. If something in you has been stirring lately, that is not nothing. The circus is gathering, and there are two doors in.

Door one · the fire

Some wake and reach for wood, not instruments.

Every circus that has ever crossed the dark did it around a fire someone chose to keep. The fire-keepers are the patronage of IMP Circus: the quiet ring around the light that films, costumes, stage builds, strange instruments, and whole worlds are pulled out of.

In plain human words

Patrons fund this world with a monthly amount they choose. Every tier receives exactly the same things — the tiers are sizes of generosity, not levels of access. You can change or end your patronage at any time, in one click, no questions, no hunting for the cancel button.

Sk’em

The ember · fire carried in one hand

$8/ MONTH

Small, glowing, stubborn. An ember is how every fire survives the road between camps.

Carry an ember

T’orsh

The torch · fire that travels

$28/ MONTH

A torch throws light ahead of the troupe. Most keepers carry this one.

Raise a torch

Gro’vahn

The bonfire · fire the whole camp sees

$48/ MONTH

A bonfire changes what a night can hold. Whole manifestations get planned beside one.

Light a bonfire
What the fire feeds

Films, costumes, creatures, stage builds, strange instruments, recordings, and the worlds still being written. Every finished thing on this site came out of this fire.

What finds you

Dispatches from the workshop and the road — songs escaping early, films forming, canon leaking. And the monthly Gathering: one live call where the circus talks back.

This bargain binds nothing. Unlike the last one, you may end it whenever you choose.

Patrons can change or end their patronage here at any time. For larger bargains or one-time gifts, write plainly: booking@impcircus.com.

Door two · the troupe

Some woke with their hands already moving.

Musicians. Actors. Dancers. Builders. Costumers. Painters. Projectionists. Schemers. Swords-for-hire. The troupe was never one kind of body, and the imps are scattered across the whole earth — waking at their own speed, wondering if anyone else remembers. We remember. Announce yourself.

Announcing yourself binds you to nothing. It only tells the circus that another imp is stirring.
