IMP Circus is loud on stage and quiet with your information. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect at impcircus.com, why, and what your choices are.

What we collect
- Patronage information. When you become a patron, Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, and payment details on our behalf. We receive your name, email, phone number, and the tier you chose. We never see or store your full card number :: that stays with Stripe.
- Messages you send us. If you announce yourself through a form on this site, or email, text, or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share.
- Technical basics. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies of our own.
How we use it
- To run your patronage: process payments through Stripe, and manage changes or cancellation.
- To send dispatches, updates, and invitations to the community calls by email and by text, which you agree to receive when you become a patron. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of emails by using the unsubscribe link or simply telling us :: opting out never affects your patronage.
- To answer whatever you send us.
- To keep required business and tax records, and to prevent fraud.
What we share
We never sell your personal information, and we never share it for advertising. We share it only with the services that make the circus run:
- Stripe processes payments and stores billing details (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions.
- Tools we use to send the emails and texts described above.
- Authorities, if the law genuinely requires it.
Embedded content
Pages on this site embed players and fonts from YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Google Fonts, and link to Stripe for checkout. When you load or interact with those elements, those companies may collect data under their own privacy policies, as they would if you visited them directly.
How long we keep it
We keep patron information while your patronage is active, and business records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. If you write and ask us to delete your information, we will, except what the law makes us keep.
Your choices
Email us anytime to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Opt out of texts with STOP. Opt out of emails with one message. Cancel your patronage in one click through the patron portal.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will also go out in a dispatch.
