The fine print :: kept honest
Terms & Conditions
Effective July 29, 2026
These terms cover the use of impcircus.com and patronage of IMP Circus. By using the site or becoming a patron, you agree to them. We have kept them short and human on purpose.
What patronage is
Patronage is voluntary, recurring monthly support of the artists and world of IMP Circus. Every tier receives exactly the same things: dispatches from the workshop and the road, and an invitation to the monthly community call. The tiers are sizes of generosity, not levels of access. Patronage is support of the work :: it is not a purchase of goods, a pre-order, an investment, or a promise of financial return.
Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you become a patron you authorize a recurring monthly charge at your chosen tier, on roughly the same day each month, until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars.
Cancelling
This bargain binds nothing. You can change or end your patronage at any time through the patron portal or by writing to us. Cancellation stops all future charges. No exit interviews, no hidden buttons.
Refunds
Monthly support already charged is generally not refunded, since it funds work as it happens. But we are humans, not a machine: if a charge was a mistake, a duplicate, or something feels wrong, write to us within 14 days and we will make it right.
Staying in touch
Patrons agree to receive dispatches and community-call invitations by email and by text at the address and number provided at checkout. Message and data rates may apply to texts. Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP, and out of emails with the unsubscribe link or a plain message. Opting out never affects your patronage.
The work itself
All music, films, images, characters, writing, and the world of IMP Circus are owned by IMP Circus and its creators. You are welcome and encouraged to watch, listen, share links, and tell everyone you know. You may not copy, re-upload, sell, or commercially exploit the work without written permission.
Community calls
The calls are a shared fire. Be decent to the other bodies around it. We may remove anyone who makes the space unsafe or unusable, and repeated disruption may end a patronage with a refund of that month.
The honest disclaimers
The site and the work are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the site or patronage is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will also go out in a dispatch. Continuing your patronage after a change means you accept it.
